What is Coosa Valley Technologies?

Coosa Valley Technologies is a subsidiary of Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC). While CVEC has long provided electric and gas services, Coosa Valley Technologies was created to bring fast, reliable fiber broadband to the communities we serve. As a locally operated company, we are focused on connecting our member-owners and strengthening the places we call home.

What internet speeds are offered?

We offer four residential packages designed to fit a variety of needs, starting at $59.99 per month for 300 Mbps service. Additional options include 500 Mbps for $79.99 per month, 1 Gig for $99.99 per month, and 2 Gig service starting at $119.99 per month. These options give households and businesses the flexibility to choose the speed that works best for them.

When did service begin?

We began connecting customers in 2021 and have since completed our initial fiber buildout across our core service areas. With the help of grant funding, we are now completing our first expansion phase, allowing us to reach more underserved areas and continue closing the digital divide in our communities.
